Its award season and with the Oscar nominations in today and the Golden Globes starting soon its time for us to announce the nominations for the TiBS Second Annual Scifi Awards. These awards honor the actors, actresses and writers who created the best shows in our genre. What makes these nominations even better is they are nominated by the fans.
Unlike many modern award shows where a group of ‘members only’ nominate their picks for awards, TiBS Science Fiction Awards are all picked out by fans of the actors, actresses and the shows. Whats even cooler? We had actual awards made and each winner will have an award mailed to their agents to accept the awards!
Are you ready for the results? The Young Actor and Actress categories were decided by a mere 10 votes, while the best actor in a movie was won by over 3,000. Best TV show was a tie that the staff made a deciding vote on. In all over 25,000 votes were cast.
