Season 4 of Falling Skies is still several months away but TV Guide just revealed a few more details on a new character to season 4. Mira Sorvino is set to join season 4 as Sara, a gun-toting, wisecracking character who seems to be a perfect match for Pope (Colin Cunningham).
TV Guide says
“She’s a ballsy, brash woman with a complicated past. She proves to be a worthy foil — and ultimately a love interest — for Pope,” says executive producer David Eick. “They have a classic love-hate dynamic.”
Sara survived the alien invasion on an isolated farm, and, like everyone, says Eick, “she has her secrets, weaknesses, hypocrisies and vulnerabilities.”
Last fall we discussed the information that came out about her character and the possibility that she could be a love interest for Pope. This new information certainly leaves us to think she is a decent match for Pope but can she be trusted? After the finale in season 3, you have to wonder just who you can trust anymore.
With David Eick at the helm, and 2 additional episodes for season 4 (12 total), Falling Skies is about to step up their game. But enough of my talking, how about a brand new photo and a look at the trailer released last fall for the new season.
