Wes Anderson films are a genre unto themselves. It’s not just the style, the appearance of the set pieces or the characters, but also the casting choices. His films are known for their eccentricity and unique visual and narrative styles. Having only ever seen one of his most recent films, The French Dispatch, I have little to go on for whether this will be good, but aliens are involved and I love anything that has aliens. And yes some of Wes’ Anderson’s other well-known films are on my to-do list for checking out, but for now, let’s check out the newest film from Wes Anderson coming June 16th.
