While we don’t have a firm date for release of the long-awaited S5 Outlander Trading Cards, I just got the first list of signers! I’m very excited to bring this to you, and like you, I can’t wait for the cards to come out. If you remember, I worked with Cryptozoic over the last 18 months to put this set together. My contact at Cryptozoic has let me know this list may have some names added to it before the final release! (The photo above are the promotion cards put out for this season.)

This season consists of a 72-card base set, taking you through the season’s story, with several foil parallel sets of the base. There are also several 9-card specialty-theme “chase” sets – Kids ‘N Critters; Time Travelers; “Never My Love” (focusing on Claire’s trauma dream sequence); and a puzzle set of the main artwork. Each box will also contain one random autograph card and one random “Timeless Wardrobe” card, featuring a piece of fabric used in some of the wonderful costumes from past seasons. There are several potential additional cards that may be in boxes, including the set’s actual printing plates.
UPDATE: There will be silver and gold base parallels, and a red foil-stamped parallel set!
Two different binders were available: one showing Jamie and Claire, and the other showing Brianna and Roger.
Three If By Space is also an authorized Cryptozoic card dealer, and we still have some supply available – individual boxes and the second binder can still be ordered. You can order these items here.
