Three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River after an unexpected family tragedy. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life soon gets turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter discovers a mysterious portal to the afterlife. When someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times, the mischievous demon gleefully returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.

The new trailer gives us a better look at where the story in the sequel will take us and answers the question of who the funeral was for. With so many of the original cast returning, the heart and soul of the original feel intact and it takes me back to when I saw the first film as a kid. I am certainly excited to see Keaton back at it in the title role and it doesn’t seem that he has lost any of his fun Beetlejuice vibe after 35 years.

The trailer also reveals several new cast members including Willem Dafoe, and Monica Bellucci.
