Based upon Lev Grossman’s best-selling books, The Magicians centers around Brakebills University, a secret institution specializing in magic. There, amidst an unorthodox education of spellcasting, a group of twenty-something friends soon discover that a magical fantasy world they read about as children is all too real— and poses grave danger to humanity.
The Magicians Season 1 ended with one hell of a cliffhanger. It left many of us wondering just how many of our friends from Brakebills would survive, if any at all. Well I mean we expected a few would or we wouldn’t have another season. The release of the new trailer has given us at least an idea of who survives, but just not how. Magic is dieing and only they can save it. If they don’t, it will die not just in Fillory, but every world.
During our most recent interviews with the cast at Comic Con in San Diego, they revealed that the team does survive but the road to survival will not be easy. Everyone will be wondering just what Julia is up to. We will learn that too but does she get the revenge she is looking for? Did she really turn on her friends?
