There’s been a lot of news lately about Outlander cast appearances! Wizard World in Chicago will host Sam and Caitriona in August (if you’re attending this one or interested in attending, join our FB group!) Creation Entertainment is putting on two events this summer with Sam, Caitriona, and other stars – Las Vegas in July, and New Jersey in August. And Scott Kyle will headline the Limestone City Gathering in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, June 9-10.
But if you’re looking for a different, more intimate kind of event, where you have more access to the celebs, for a more reasonable price than those events, you might be interested in joining me at Sasnak City! This event, held in Kansas City on April 20-22, will feature LOTS of your faves – Rik Rankin, Sophie Skelton, Steven Cree, Jon Bell, Gary Lewis, Cesar Domboy, the Highland Divas… Panels, photographs, autographs, the opportunity to purchase tickets to meet and greets and cocktail parties, all in an exciting venue – the National World War I Museum and Memorial – with less than 300 total attendees make this a unique event. There will be some fantastic opportunities at this event. Attendees of these kind of events often want to give the celebs a gift – but the sheer number of gifts and the limited amount of packing space often means that these get left behind or at least go unacknowledged. Organizer Gina Phipps-Hubbell announced just this week that attendees will have a chance to give the celebs a gift – with a personal note – that will definitely be appreciated, by setting up a “Green Room Registry.” Attendees – either by themselves or as a group – can sponsor the snacks, water or beverage service, or even the favorite whisky for the celebs, and private a personal note that will be hand delivered. Choices are going quickly for this opportunity!

There’s More to Life
I’ve gotten hooked on Psych, a show that ended a couple of years ago (on the USA network). I’ve been bingeing this sharp, funny show about a fake “psychic” detective on Amazon Prime. While I had heard about it when it started, more than 10 years ago – the show ran for 8 seasons – it didn’t come back to my attention until San Diego ComicCon last summer, when stars James Roday and Dulé Hill did a panel right before the Outlander panel to introduce the then-upcoming Psych The Movie! I haven’t gotten quite that far – a handful more of season 8 episodes to go! What are your favorite shows to binge? What do you recommend? Leave a comment!
