Outlander Gift Guide 2023 – Yes, You Do Need These!

Like many of you, I like finding new and unusual items that fulfill my need to own everything related to Outlander. I have mugs, trading cards, Funko Pops, shirts, and more – but there’s always space for something else. So, here’s my annual list of new and fun things that could be added to your wishlist, or bought for your gift exchange recipient, Outlander-obsessed friend, or anyone else who appreciates beautiful and interesting stuff! Did I miss something? Feel free to include information about a handmade or other publicly available item, including a link, in the comments! Disclaimer: I provide Amazon links where appropriate, and threeifbyspace makes a small commission if you purchase from those links.

Once you’ve made it through my list, be sure to go all the way to the bottom for a contest to win an Outlander calendar!

Laura Rispoli

You may have seen Laura’s name in several of the Facebook Outlander groups or on Twitter – her art has been seen for several years, celebrating our favorite show! Her artwork is available on cards, postcards, prints, and original paintings, between $20 and $65 (depending on product). She recently began offering a line of beautiful forget-me-not jewelry – necklace and earrings, $46-$49. Find Laura on Etsy.

Outlander Wines from Mano’s

There’s a new licensed Outlander wine maker! Mano’s, an online wine retailer, has several different products available – rosé, sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon – and as I haven’t tasted their products, I can’t give you an opinion (not that I would know what I was drinking) on the wine itself. But the bottles are gorgeous! And some of them you can actually customize! I had the opportunity to talk with the company’s marketing manager, Chelsea Mura, and two other members of the marketing team, Bailey Haase and Cassidy Dutton, back in August.

Mano’s, based in Kansas City, MO, started as a corporate gift company, and branched out into wines about 10 years ago. They are a winery, but they don’t have a vineyard – they bottle the wine they purchase mostly from the central coast of California, but also from the Pacific Northwest and some international varieties. The company has exhibited at the Sasnak City events, so if you’ve attended those, you may have seen them! They design and create their own bottles – if you’re interested, you can watch a video of that process here. “A lot of people never open them, they keep them more as collectible items or commemorative pieces,” said Chelsea. They really are works of art.”

Mano’s also makes wines and bottles for other franchises, and for sports teams! Their Lord of the Rings bottles are also absolutely beautiful, and would make a great gift for your LOTR-loving friends. They also create wines and bottles for The Wizard of Oz, several different sports teams, and custom bottles for your specific needs. At the time we talked, the company had finalized a merchandising deal with World Market and expected the bottles of Outlander sauvignon blanc and LOTR wines to be in many of the stores, but as of last week, I haven’t yet seen them in my local store (and they aren’t on the chain’s website yet). All of their items are available to order from their site (shipping is not available to AR, AK, DE, MS, SD, UT). Find  them at manoswine.com.

Outlander Coloring Book

The second volume of this fun adult coloring book is coming out this fall! The new book, with 45 all-new illustrations, will be available October 17. $18.95 on Amazon.

Build A Bear Jamie and Claire

Your kids may love Build A Bear, but here’s a reason for YOU to love them! These two new sets – Barkleigh dressed as Claire and Happy Hugs Teddy as Jamie come complete with sound – press their paw and they say some of the characters’ phrases. (These packages include the sound chip and costume, but both items are available for sale separately if you already have the plush animals.) $64 each, Build A Bear online.

ClassyGlassAndStone

Fan Cara Molloy makes several different items for the Outlander lover! These include  wooden cutting boards ($25), necklaces ($20), engraved tumblers ($25) and whisky glasses ($15). Find her on Etsy.

Outlander Calendars

A staple for many fans, the yearly Outlander calendars give us a glimpse every day (although I know some people refuse to display the BJR pictures, lol). There are four styles available at many retailers, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Walmart: a weekly spiral bound planner; a daily desk calendar; small monthly calendar; and large format wall calendar. Produced by Sellers Publishing, they also put out The Romance of Scotland (large wall calendar) and Kilty Pleasures (large and small wall calendars).

BONUS! Scroll to the bottom of this post and enter to win 1 of 2 prizes – your choice of the Outlander or Kilty Pleasures small calendar (middle photo), courtesy of Sellers Publishing!

Poemsandthings

Maggie Jenkins, one of this  year’s TIBS poetry contest entrants, writes beautiful, thoughtful poems related to Outlander. She sells them on Etsy, raising funds for  Riding For The Disabled. All of Maggie’s poems are on sale through this season 7 Droughtlander. Find her on Etsy.

Outlander Store

Get cozy with official Outlander gear! Choose from the Sassenach collection, the Fraser’s Ridge collection, or the Jamie or Claire sets. These tartan slippers ($39.95) look very comfy, and there are blankets, coffee mugs, sweatshirts, whisky glasses, and more to keep you warm, inside and out. While some of the jewelry seems a bit overpriced, most of the items are attractive and reasonable. Outlanderstore.com.

Here in our collectibles shop, we have some items that may be on your wishlist! First, we will be getting a few more boxes of the Outlander Season 5 Trading Cards in stock later this week. The cards are fun to collect – each box has an autographed card from one of the show’s actors, and each has a wardrobe card with a piece of fabric used for costumes in previous seasons! Click this link for the cards.

We also have a new set of Outlander-inspired pins, designed by site owner Robert Prentice and me. These 2-1/2″ metal enamel pins, in three original designs, will be fun to wear or collect. Each pin is $20, and is available for pre-order (delivery will be November or earlier). Find these here on our site.

Great Scot Pink Ribbon Tartan

This combines my love of pink, tartan, and charity projects! Great Scot, a small tartan mill in Keith, Scotland, produces many different tartans and tartan products, but for this one, they’ve partnered with the Pink Ribbon Foundation, a breast cancer organization, to donate 10% of the sale of any of their Pink Ribbon tartan items. These  include a scarf, picnic blanket, a kilted skirt, and even an adorable keepsake bear! Check out this bright hopeful tartan, and the company’s other items, here.
