We already know that we’ll enjoy 16 episodes of Outlander this year, but Starz recently confirmed that they will run a split season, with eight consecutive episodes airing from August 9 until September 27, and the other eight will air beginning in early 2015. While the official premier date is August 9, the first episode will be available to view online as a preview beginning August 2. Between the San Diego Red Carpet event, the Time-Warner showings, and the online previews, will there be anyone who waits until August 9?
