Killjoys: Decisions, Alliances And Expectations See Changes – Preview

Friday’s episode of Killjoys, “The Wolf You Feed,” is going to take everything we thought we knew and were anticipating about this show and sending it ass-over-tea kettle down the hallway.

Last week’s revelations weren’t the game-changers I’d thought at the time. Turns out, they were the salad before the main meal arrives. With this week’s episode 307 on the table, it’s time to eat hearty, my friend.

Decisions are made that change the dynamics of just about everything that’s to come. Alliances are broken, trust is betrayed, new alliances are formed, leadership changes hands, dreams become soul-shaking nightmares, and in the end, it will alter the plans of Dutch, D’Avin, Johnny, Zeph, the Farran, the Scarbacks, Turin, Fancy Lee and just about everyone else moving forward.

I have to hand it to show creator Michelle Lovretta and her staff, along with the writing team, support staff and the players in this drama for dealing out a hand that’s going to be interesting to play out. I found everything about what’s to come Friday night to be not only shockingly interesting, but a tantalizing shift and shake-up of the status quo. And who doesn’t like that?

In short, settle in, buckle up and get set for a ride that will send this show in some very interesting directions and answer questions that have been nagging us all from the start of this thing. Killjoys takes on a new flavor this week as an army that is on the verge of splintering somehow manages to rally together behind an unlikely source of courage and vision. And Dutch takes a trip and doesn’t even leave the farm.

There, I’ve given everything away without giving much away at all. Apparently, I’m a tease.
